Most if not all campgrounds set some rules and regulations for every guests and campers to make your camping experience safe and worthwhile. These rules were made to prevent unnecessary accidents, preserve nature, and to promote relaxing outdoor experience to all visitors.
As with every large group, rules have to be put in place to promote a conducive environment for the co-existence of all campers within the campgrounds. Wether seasoned or novice campers, you are assured to have an enjoyable and peaceful stay if you are willingly open minded to follow these sets of rules.
When camping, The fundamental rule is to respect the set rules provided by any given campsites. There is a maximum number of people allowed per campsite or even the number of pets allowed. With regards to your stay at our campgrounds, be sure to:
Set Up Camp in Established Places
It might seem like common sense but setting up camp isn't second nature to everyone.
There are areas in campgrounds that have been set aside for the sole purpose of building camp sites. Where established, do not try to alter these sites and create sites of your own. Simply set up your tent to your designated camping slots only.
Avoid Setting Camp in Unpredictable Places
When we say unpredictable, these are places within a campground where campers must not pitch their tents because it poses high risks or danger. These refer to unestablished grounds such as muddy, landslide prone areas, and river streams. Setting camp in the middle or beside a river can pose high risk of getting into a dangerous situation such as flash floods. These can happen without warning and most of the time causing tragic accident.
Be Mindful & Adhere To Posted Speed Limits
Please be mindful when driving towards your designated camping areas within the site. Also take extra care when negotiating through muddy terrain to avoid getting stuck. Keep your speed slow, the campgrounds are public areas set for recreation and are therefore filled with children playing or riding bikes and people walking their dogs.
It is imperative that these limits are obeyed as exceeding them can mean life or death for you and fellow campers. Other than endangering lives, you may also end up kicking up dust against other campers.
Just keep it slow and you'll be good to go.

Now is a great time to plan your next camping trip to one of the newest campgrounds near the metro. Whether you're a die-hard camping fan, looking for a low-cost break, or reliving childhood memories, camping is a great way to get outdoors and spend quality time with friends, family, or on your own.
Exploring the great outdoors and getting back in touch with nature brings some real health benefits for your well-being. Here are some list to help you understand some of them:
Peace and Quiet Surrounding
Unplug and enjoy the simplicity of nature. Forget charging your smartphones, tablets and gaming consoles, and instead recharge your own batteries. Your body and mind will thank you for it and you will return to work refreshed and energized. Turn off the internet, the emails and even the news. All you need is one charged phone for emergencies, kept turned off and packed away.
Camping requires more physical exercise to gather, prepare and store food, get around a campsite and manage your shelter effectively. Go further by adding outdoor games, walking or bike riding into the mix and kick cardiovascular benefits and calorie burning off the charts.
Reduced Stress at the Campfire
One of the important health benefits of camping is that it reduces stress by removing common triggers like work pressure, traffic and the rush of city life, replacing them with the calming effect of bird song, the sound of waves crashing on the beach and the wind in the trees. The real thing is much more therapeutic than anything you’ll find on your MP3.
Do you sometimes feel like you never talk to your family and, when you look around you, everyone’s on a device of some sort? Being in close proximity to loved ones or good friends, without the interference of modern devices like smartphones and tablets can let you communicate more directly and give and receive eye contact. Having to depend on each other to prepare food and look after your campsite builds camaraderie, a sense of community and shared purpose that adds to your wellbeing.
When you’re out camping and surrounded by trees and fresh air, your body releases higher levels of serotonin, a naturally-produced neurotransmitter that helps regulate your mood, appetite, and sleep. Serotonin also improves cognitive functions such as memory and learning.
Melatonin is a natural hormone helps control your sleep and wake cycles. When you’re stuck in an office for long periods, working in artificial light, your melatonin levels can be suppressed by the blue light in artificial sources like incandescent bulbs. Camping outside exposes you to melatonin-friendly yellow light, which can help you achieve a more natural alignment of the sleep-wake cycle with sunrise and sunset.
Vitamin D Boost
Being outside, your body absorbs huge quantities of sunlight. The sun provides a healthy outdoor glow to the skin, and internally the body uses it to synthesize Vitamin D which helps your body absorb calcium and phosphorus, two minerals essential for healthy bones and teeth.
